Happy Monday! Hope everyone is having a great day so far and recovering from the Super Bowl madness yesterday! I still can’t believe what happened. If you didn’t watch the game spoiler alert the Patriots won. I would like to mention that the Miami Dolphins are still the only team to go an entire season undefeated and that includes winning the Super Bowl that year :-). Just saying.. Anyways recently I have noticed more so than not especially during the winter I stick to my basic outfits. However, I was always curious if people thought that because I was normally wearing all black that there was something wrong with me. I am here to tell you that it is perfectly normal to wear all black. My best friend Tess whenever I ask her what she is wearing she says I am wearing some black on some black on some black you know the usual. I personally think if you are concerned that you are always wearing all black all the time then switch up some of the pieces to be different textures. For example in the image today I am wearing black jeans and then a black top underneath then a black leather jacket. The leather jacket made my look different and changed up me constantly just wearing solid black. I have also worn black suede pants with a black top and no one noticed that I was wearing all black, but they did notice my suede pants. Do you think that it’s acceptable to wear all black all the time? Comment below and let me know what you think. <3
Steals & Deals: The Over The Knee Heeled Boot
Happy Friday! For today’s Steals & Deals I want to discuss one of the hottest trends this season…the over the knee boot. We have seen everyone wear them from the Hadid sisters to almost every fashion blogger out there. I was lucky enough to get a pair of the Stuart Weitzman Highland boots in black suede for my birthday, but not everyone wants to spend that much on a pair of shoes. I have found some other options for all of you that give you the same look, but at a fraction of the cost. These boots from Steve Madden almost look identical to mine and are only $129! Even better they also have a pair in two neutral colors for only $99!!!! Snag those babies while you can at that unbeatable price. Nordstrom right now has an amazing selection of over the knee heeled boots under $200. Now just because these shoes are under $200 doesn’t mean you shouldn’t weatherproof them. I have learned that even if you waterproof your shoes the one thing that will destroy them is the salt that everyone puts on the sidewalks to melt the snow. So if you get that on your new boots that are weather proofed just take a towel or napkin and wipe off the salt. If you do that within 12 hours you should be good to go. If you are still in the market for a pair it is not too late to get yourself a pair. Head on over now before they all disappear.

Splurge Worthy Wedding Clutch
Happy Thursday! Hope everyone is gearing up for the Superbowl this Sunday and has done all of the food shopping that they need. February seems to be one of the most popular months to get married. Obviously because of Valentine’s Day, but also because of President’s Day Weekend. In a few weeks I am going to be going to Arizona to watch one of my best friends from college marry the love her life and I am so excited that I will be there. I haven’t been back to Arizona since I graduated college in December 2012 so needless to say I have my list of places I want to hit before I leave. The other day I started to go through my closet to plan out my outfits for the wedding weekend. One of the first purchases I made for myself years ago was this amazing black patent bag from Louis Vuitton. It has card holders in the front of the bag as well as a zipper inside, but it also comes with detachable strap! When it comes to a wedding bag I know I have said this before, but it is 100% worth the splurge. I have worn this bag out with the strap to dinners in New York City and then as a clutch to engagement parties and weddings. It is so versatile and even though there is gold hardware on it in some lightings you can’t even tell so you can also get away with silver jewelry as well. If you are looking for a classic wedding clutch and aren’t sure what to purchase this is perfect for you. Anything black patent is great because it is a classic look that will never go out of style. Sadly this bag isn’t available online, but they have a similar version available that you all should take a look at. Hope you all have a great day <3

Hump Day Treat- Superbowl Ready
Happy February!! With Superbowl being this Sunday I thought that I would share with you a recipe that all of your guests would enjoy. I have added a little twist to the simple potato skins. Now as a kid I never really liked bacon. I know crazy right! However, recently I have discovered my love for Duck Bacon. Yes you read that correctly Duck Bacon. It was in my local Fairway Grocery store and it is delicious. Here is what you need to make these most delicious potato skins.
Ingredients:
4 – 6 Idaho potatoes depending on how many people you are having
1 package of duck bacon
1 chives
1 sour cream
1 package of sharp cheddar cheese ( I purchased kraft that was already shredded)
Directions:
1.Preheat the oven to 400 degrees
2.On a cookie sheet put down some aluminum foil. Pierce your potatoes all over. Line the aluminum foil with baking spray. Place the pierced potatoes on the cookie sheet and put them in the oven for an hour. (They should be able to be pierced with a fork)
3.When the potatoes have about 10 minutes left in the oven cut up the Duck Bacon into small pieces and fry them in a pan until crispy. Turn the heat down so they stay warm.
4.Once potatoes are done remove them and let them cool down for about 10 minutes.
5.Once they are cooled down cut them half lengthwise. Then scoop out the center not so that you see the bottom of the skin just enough so you can fill it with the cheese and bacon. You can use the excess potato insides for mashed potatoes or even gnocchi!
6.Put the sliced potatoes back on the same cookie sheet they just came off of. Cover them with cheese and the bacon. Put the broiler on in the oven and place them inside. I left mine in the oven for about 8 minutes even though the cheese was bubbling.
7.Remove from the oven and if you want cut them in half depending on if you want them into smaller bite sized treats.
ENJOY!!!!!
