Happy Monday! Hope you all had a great weekend and are gearing up for the week ahead. I still can’t believe that summer is almost over! Personally I am not ready for the cold weather, but I am trying to savor every moment of the summer I can before it’s over. Now I have expressed my love for bodysuits before and I am here to share with you one of my favorite finds for a special Steals & Deals. Now if you are going to wear a bodysuit I believe it shouldn’t be a full bottom. I don’t want to feel like I am wearing a full piece bathing suit as clothes and I know none of you do either. I have always had a love hate relationship with Express throughout the years, but recently I have loved a lot of their pieces. This off the shoulder ruffle thong bodysuit is something that you all need to have in your closets. First off the off the shoulder trend is something that we have been seeing for over a year now and it doesn’t seem to be going away. Secondly this bodysuit can be worn a multitude of ways. It can be worn as a one shoulder top or even as a strapless top! I have tried it and it works! It is available on Express’ website in 5 colors for only $39.90. Now normally when you see bodysuits like this at such a low price they tend to feel cheap and aren’t as comfortable as what you would like. I am here to say that this bodysuit despite it being off the shoulder which requires me to wear a strapless bra is the most comfortable bodysuit. I had to read the label after putting it on because it is so soft that you would think it was made out of 100% cotton. I personally ordered a size small and it fits perfectly! Summer White Top

It’s finally Thursday which means one more day until the weekend! Unless some of us took off this entire week due to the holiday. Last summer I was on the hunt for the perfect white top. The problem with a white top especially during summer is even though we all don’t want to admit it, but we sweat. In New York City it gets unbearably hot during the summer and I know that I am not the only one that sometimes takes two showers a day because of the heat. Since it gets so hot its almost impossible to find a white top that doesn’t show that you are sweating through it. I found this top at Bloomingdales on their sale rack with no label just a price tag on it. Crazy I know that it didn’t have a label but for $25 it was exactly what I was looking for. When looking for a summer white top try to find something that is breathable, but not sheer. This top with its tiered layers and detailing with also the layer of what feels like silk, but I am sure isn’t shows all the amazing details of the top without any sweat marks. I love how it is short enough to look like it is a crop top, but long enough that it covers my entire stomach. When on your hunt for the perfect white top take a picture with the flash on outside the dressing room. I say this because it is a fact that dressing rooms have different lighting and mirrors than what we have at home. Also we have seen it too many times happen to celebrities on red carpets where all the sudden their clothes are now see through. YIKES! If you are like me you don’t mind wearing a strapless bra even during the summer. My other suggestion is to bring or wear a strapless bra when you are out shopping because the last thing you want is to buy a top thinking that it can be worn with a strapless bra and then it doesn’t work once you try it all on at home. Then you will have to go all the way back to the store to return the top or you will just let it sit in your closet forever… If you haven’t already check out some of the major department stores this week. How To Add Color To Any Outfit

It’s Thursday and that means its one more day until the weekend!!! Now I have said this before, but I will say it again the majority of my closet is black with a little white and very few items of color. However, when it comes to handbags that isn’t the case. A few years ago Gilt was having a major sale exclusive for their app users for brand new Balenciaga bags! Yes you heard that right brand new Balenciaga bags not pre owned. Now it is more common for these flash sale sites to have brand new designer bags at a fraction of the cost but even two years ago that wasn’t the case.

I knew that I wanted to get a red bag to add to my collection. My Mom always told me that if I was going to buy a colored bag to make it red because her Mom always told her that it was for good luck. If you are going to get any bag for a pop color even if you don’t think it will bring you luck I suggest a red bag. My only suggestion is to make sure not to wear a bag like this when their is the potential of bad weather. The worst thing that can happen to you is if your red bag bleeds onto your clothes. That has happened to me way too a few too many times that I don’t want to admit. I think Stella agrees with me on this that this red Balenciaga purse is the way to go. Fitness Tuesday in honor of Stella’s Birthday!!

Happy Fitness Tuesday! Today is a very special day for me because it my sweet puppy Stella’s first birthday!! It is crazy to me to think that a year ago on my birthday I put down a deposit for her and now she is already a year old. So today in honor of her birthday I want to talk about fitness with your animal. Now I love to give Stella treats and of course she loves them too, but we also want our pets to be healthy and have tons of energy. I have noticed that for her even after a two hour walk she still is full of energy, but then eventually sleeps. I personally do not go running with Stella everyday, but I have been taking her for casual jogs in Central Park at least once a week since. Thankfully (knock on wood) it hasn’t snowed yet so I am taking full advantage of it. If you are fortunate enough to have a pool anywhere near you and for us New Yorkers an indoor pool take your dog for an occasional swim. All of my family pets have all loved to swim not just because we were in Miami, but because it is great exercise for them. Even though I have seen videos of it and I find it entertaining I have heard that putting a dog on a treadmill isn’t the best idea especially if you turn up the speed on it. Just like Taylor Swift did in the Apple commercial a dog can seriously hurt themselves and fall down. Hope you all have a great Tuesday and again Happy Birthday to my sweet puppy Stella! The Strappy Sandal: Fendi

When looking for strappy sandals I have always had a tough time finding a pair in beige. These Fendi strappy sandals I bought back in college during a huge blowout sale at Saks Fifth Avenue and since then I haven’t found a pair like them. They are so comfortable that I have worn them for over 6 hours straight before and had not had one single blister or anything! The trick with strappy sandals is to make sure the straps aren’t rubbing up against the skin of your foot in places that could cause blisters or irritation. One thing I always do the first time I wear strappy sandals is put on blister band aids on my baby toes, just as a precaution. This is beneficial especially when you go out. Even though no one will say it your feet do sweat and that is the number one thing that can cause you to get blisters. Make sure though that after you wear your shoes that you clean out the inside of your shoe to make sure no moisture is left from your evening. If you are looking for a great pair of beige strappy sandals here are a few things I would look for: #1 color – you want to make sure the color is not too light of a beige but not too dark to be mistaken as brown #2 you want it to have a little bit of a platform in front, if it doesn’t then make sure that it has a good arch because if the heel height is too much then if it has no arch your feet will kill you by the end of the night and #3 invest in a pair that you can wear from season to season especially if you think you will wear them again.

How To Layer Necklaces

They key to layering necklaces is simplicity. I will admit I do have those big-jeweled necklaces from Baublebar and J.crew that I have purchased through the years, but those necklaces aren’t the ones you need to layer over each other. This Jennifer Zeuner necklace I paired with a long gold dipped chain with a Fendi heart charm. Something that I didn’t know until I purchased this chain, is that since gold is going up in pricing and in value, you still want a gold chain but without the gold price tag. The best way to do this is to find a gold dipped chain. These chains are usually a sterling silver chain base with the gold dip and they are ½ the price, but they still look like it’s a gold chain. Some necklaces have different chain length options already on the chain, which is one of the reason I love this Jennifer Zeuner necklace. I can make it long or I can make it super short depending on the neckline that I was wearing that day. I never layer more than 3 necklaces at a time. Even if the chains are different lengths, they still all meet on the back of your neck and the last thing you want to deal with at the end of the day is untangling a bunch of chains together. The trick to avoiding that is to take the longest necklace first and unhook it from the front. If you decide to wear all chains the same length pick the necklace with the least amount of charms and pull it to the front to unhook it. This is something that I have done many times and have avoided the dreaded tangled neck chains. Necklace layering isn’t for everyone. Some people I know just aren’t a fan of the look, but I think if there are two pieces you really want to wear at the same time that it is doable you just have to make it look effortless.
