Happy Friday or as we all know it to be called…BLACK FRIDAY! Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving yesterday and ate too much turkey. I know that I am still full this morning when I woke up. For me I personally do not shop on Black Friday in the stores. I am more of a cyber Monday kind of girl, but there are some great sales today in a bunch of stores. According to Forbes.com some of the best deals today are from Amazon, Apple, Best Buy, Target and Walmart. Some of the “star buys” as Forbes calls them are HDTV’s, but there is something that everyone seems to forget. Just because the TV may be a great deal doesn’t mean the model is a good model. Before purchasing any TV today do you research before buying. I say do this with any electronic today because a lot of great brands will significantly lower the prices on models that aren’t necessarily the best ones in their line up. Check it out before you buy. Other “star buys” include sony playstation, xbox 1, apple Iphone 7, apple watch series 1 and the amazon fire kids edition. They also list deals that they say “treat with caution”. This is because even though these may look like deals to us because of the advertising and everything they really aren’t deals. For example a lot of retailers are saying the Apple watch series 2 is only $369, but that is actually the standard retail price. Another one is the Ipad Pro at target is $150.99 off vs $125 off at Best Buy. Even the google chromecast is only $25, but Forbes suggest you can find it cheaper in the off season. All I can say is this if you are unsure if you are getting a good deal do your research. For me I always check if the item is returnable if it is then I purchase it and then if I find it cheaper I buy the cheaper model then return the other one I paid more for. Sometimes retailers won’t let you return and say it is final sale so if that is the case and you are unsure then don’t purchase it. Unless you really need it for something specific or just in general then tread lightly. Hope you all have a great Friday and happy shopping to everyone. Stay safe! Mall parking lots get crazy today<3

Fitness Tuesday – Pre Thanksgiving Work Out
Happy Fitness Tuesday everyone! I am running around crazy right now because I am heading back to Florida today with my sweet puppy Stella and I’m super excited to get to some warm weather ASAP! So as many of you are already preparing yourselves for eating way too much food on Thursday there are some workouts that can help you prepare for the feast I am sure all of you are about to have. One of the things that I do on every flight I have is stretch. Whether it be twisting my back or if you are sitting in the bulkhead sit I always stretch my legs out. I am also one of those people that stretches my quads while I am waiting for the restroom. The worst thing you can do especially on a plane is just not move at all. Prior to your meal this week I suggest that if you are somewhere that is warm take a nice walk. I am most definitely taking Stella on a nice walk around my neighborhood because first off it’s warm outside and if you can get a nice tan while you are walking why not and also its an easy way to burn some calories before you consume them all at your Thanksgiving meal. Also a lot of cities have Turkey Trots which is usually a 5k the day of Turkey day. Now if you are like me and don’t want to leave your mom or dad home cooking by themselves then the walk around the block is a great way to get some work out in before your meal. I hope everyone who is traveling today travels safe and stays warm if you are staying in the cold. Hopefully I come back from Miami with a nice tan 🙂 <3
Thanksgiving Week! Travel Necessities <3
Happy Monday Everyone! This week is Thanksgiving and if you are one of the millions of people traveling this holiday there are a few things you are going to have to remember. Personally for me I know that I have some clothes at home in Miami, but there are the few things that I know that I want to bring with me. For starters the worst thing to do over Thanksgiving is to check a bag. I hate checking bags especially when it’s a major holiday because every single time that I have in the past somehow the airline loses my luggage. Last year the airline put it on the flight after mine even though I was checked in over 2 hours ahead for my flight. That was not fun at all! So I try and pack my bag with the things I know that I don’t have at home. For example I always bring a pair of sneakers with me incase I want to work out. I know many of you may say you aren’t going to work out while you are home, but when you live in New York City and it is so cold out the nicest thing to do is simply go for a walk outside in warm sunny Miami. You also want to save some room in your bag incase like me you do a little shopping while you are home, but don’t worry a lot of the stores offer free shipping if you shop this weekend and in the past I have done that to avoid having to carry so many things back with me. Now I normally fly early in the morning the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, but this year I chose to take a late flight instead. If you are on an airline that offers you to pay $20 to board first… DO IT! It is money well spent! Even though I do fly often I somehow never get priority boarding and by the time they even get to the first group boarding it seems that almost the entire plane is on board and then there is no overhead compartment space for your bag. Especially since I am flying with Stella I always like to get on the plane first in order to get her situated. The other thing you always need is an external battery charger. Now I purchased one of those small pill one’s in Best Buy a few months ago and it is amazing! Especially if you get delayed on the tarmac and your plane isn’t one of the new ones with charging outlets in between the seats the worst thing that can happen to you is have your phone, Ipad, kindle and or computer die on you before you even land. It has been a huge life saver for me every single time I have flown. Also the real important thing not to forget other than your ID is your headphones. One of my best friends one year forgot her headphones at home and she was stuck in the airport delayed for 6+ hours! After hour 4 she went to a Best Buy kiosk and purchased headphones. Always remember that if you forget something and you are going home that you can always buy it! Just don’t forget your essentials: glasses, contacts, socks, underwear, phone charger, kindle / Ipad charger, headphones, make up, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, floss and of course your ID. Happy travels everyone! Safe flights <3
